In 1917 my great grandfather Harold Witbeck opened a modest GE appliance store on the outskirts of Detroit.  Roughly two decades later he built his own store, everything included, for the paltry sum of five thousand dollars.  Through the years we added more brands and product lines.  For a while we were one of the larger retailers for electric carving knives and electric blankets.  As time passed the store grew and specialized in high-end luxury appliances and home goods that more sophisticated shoppers were looking for.  Like IQAir purifiers.
